Who knew how iconic a hole in a road could be. I just about remember it; shopping with my mum in town as a youngster. And the fish tank. Who could forget the fish tank!

How the piece came about
I remember some snippets about this unique & dare I say, futuristic place. I know it was somewhere I got to go if I was well behaved during shopping trips in town because that meant seeing the fish in the giant fish tank! I've since learnt this was a common bartering tool shared with many of you too, including the city's own Jarvis Cocker! For some, it was a meeting place for friends or dates. For others they remember the saxophonist busker or spotting The Vulcan sculpture up on the wall of Castle House. It may be gone now, but by 'eck, it isn't forgotten!
